Progress
Over the year my physical ed. journey hasn't been the greatest, i believe that i was progressing in the beginning of the year then I started not caring as much for my physical health and just stopped trying even but I think it also got worse because of my skin condition and my ankle. I think throughout my Physical ed learning progress I've only worn my gym strip about 20% of the time maybe even less, it is not because i am lazy or forgot, i just have a severe insecurities about myself and i don't feel comfortable changing and being in shorts and t shirts i enjoy wearing sweaters and pants, and i wouldn't think of that as being a gym strip. If i had to give my self a letter grade of the overall progress i would give myself a C- because I have been participating lightly, I've never skipped any classes other than missing them to go to appointments (but i don't really consider that as skipping), i try to bring a good attitude and charisma to whatever activity we do even if i don't like it. and i also try my hardest to feel comfortable enough to change (it doesn't always work though). I think if i would ever grade my activity outside of school i would give it a B, I feel way more comfortable doing exercise independently because i don't have to worry about people looking at me and saying bad things like "shes so lazy, wow i can do way more than her, fat ass" and i can control myself. when i am doing fitness in school i feel like i have to do as much as everyone else is doing or else i will fail. when I'm at home i don't feel that way and i feel like i have much more room to exercise the way i please. I am trying to participate more now that the year is almost over and I think i should really make the best of it because i will be very busy during the summer.

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate
in a variety of activities? On what days have you participated to your best effort and
why? What days have been a struggle for you and why?
during this PE term I've tried to improve on bring my gym strip in more often, and I've participated more in fitness than i have last semester. I try to put more effort in on fitness days because I feel like I can get more out of it than on regular gym days. I have the most struggle when my eczema gets bad. Its a big struggle because I have to limit the amount of effort I put in so that it doesn't get worse.

I sometimes encourage my friends to try harder in gym. I think I bring a positive attitude, I can make my friends smile and laugh, I really enjoy being in this class because I made so many friends no, and I have a pretty great teacher. I think I've made friends with mostly all grade 8's and im really proud of that.
Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself
physically? What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most? What fitness
goals do you have for the rest of the year?
I think my participation in fitness has improved now that my eczema is curing a little. I've pushed myself a little further i am now able to run 5:4 in the beep test while before i could only run till 4:7. For this semester i would like to run in the beep test till atleast level 6. I would also like to push myself a little more further on fitness days

you the most proud of so far?

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate
in a variety of activities? On what days have you participated to your best effort and

During this year I don't think I showed I was prepared, because I didn't bring my gym strip to every class.
But I do think I was prepared even without my gym strip because I always stretch before fitness that way I wouldn't hurt my ankles very much. I have participated in mostly all activities even if I was hurt or if my skin had been breaking out, I would try to do the best of my abilities or I would use the bicycle to try to get the exercise I was missing. I have participated the most when I wasn't hurt or when I didn't have bad skin because then I could push myself without worrying about sweating or going slower for my foot, I remember once i was red, sweating, and puffing from the pond run. I was very proud of myself then because I had reached the limit from which I could handle and that where I was trying to get at. The most struggling days for me was when my skin broke out because i had to go easy on myself so that I wouldn't have to sweat, which would have made it worse and really irritating.

I sometimes encourage my classmates/friends to push themselves.I really enjoy being in the class because I made so many friends now that they are not just friends i see in class but friends i see outside of class and I really like that. In the beginning of school I was pretty shy and didn't want to talk to many people but now I think I've made friends with mostly all grade 8's not grade 9's though.

I think I try my hardest when I can (when I'm not injured or breaking out.)I will even do it without my gym strip even if what I wear makes me feel warm while fitness. I don't stop until i feel like I am not able to breath anymore. I think my favorite fitness activities would have to be the pond run, the community run, and the hill run. My fitness goal is to try harder when i am hurt, but I also want to try to bring my gym strip to every class.
What does "leadership" mean to you? Who are the best leaders in our class - why?
To me leadership means developing through a never ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience. They inspire classmates into higher levels of teamwork, and effort. it is the ability to influence others towards a specific goal or course of action. I think Katherine was a good leader to me because she is always encouraging me to push harder in fitness classes, and she has never stopped participating in fitness even if shes hurt.

I would like to get higher than a 6 on the beep test. I would also like to bring my gym strip to every class.
